I teach woodwind and piano both privately and in school. I work for the Lancashire Music Service and teach at Lancaster Music Trust on Saturdays.
I believe that a good understanding of the technical side of playing is very important. It frees a person up so that they are not shackled by technical problems when they are trying to express themselves musically. Whatever kind of music you enjoy playing, I will help you achieve your aims; however, I do not play jazz; this is a separate and more specialised area. |
